The Jeter DNA Project is open to all who are interested in working together to find their common heritage through sharing of information and DNA testing. All variant spellings are welcome. If your surname is missing, we'll be glad to add it. We hope to achieve the following goals: To determine possible relationships between the known Jeter/Geter/Geder lines in the United States, and try to discover how or if they are connected to Jeters in Europe. To determine if Jeter/Geter/Geder lines of African American heritage share descent with the Jeter/Geter/Geder lines of European descent. To assist Jeter/Geter/Geder families not sure of their lineage and to determine which family groups they might fit into. Adoptees are welcome.
