You have to be careful when looking at online resources--this indicated that the earliest J2 was a J2b sample at Tepe Abdul Hossein in Iran, but according to the published paper and supplemental material, there was no J found at the sight.
My Big Y500 results on Left, and Big Y700 on right. Is it just me or does the Big Y500 look better?
James Bianco, I have corrected the mistake and am sending you the new PDF
James Bianco, I do not have your email, so I could not email this to you. If you wish to receive the PDF file, email me and I will send it to you.
Dear Project Members,
I have a PDF with a Phylogenic tree of the L24 Project. I do not have everyone in the project on this tree, but I have almost everyone who has a confirmed terminal SNP or an SNP downstream of L25.
If you would like to have the PDF, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will send to to you.
I am including an example picture of how it looks- if you want a higher resolution photo, you will have to get the PDF which will allow you to zoom in.
On the L24 Project tree, there are certain subclades designated as Ashkenazi Jewish while others are completely ignored. Personally, I do not like specifying which subclade may or may not be an Israelites branch. I have been collecting samples of known and confirmed Jewish kits and adding them to the J2 tree. Here is an example. I am also working on the L24 project tree to place them there as well.
