As November 15, 2007, two "Other Michigan Herr" have been tested and
their dna results shown on our public web page, and one Michigan and
two Pennsylvania Herr members have submitted orderds and have received
test kits.
Invitations to participate in the Herr DNA Program to 22 Herr families, of whom 2 have replied to date requesting more information.
On March 24, 2009, a first Michigan Herr, son of Norman Herr/Fred Herr/William Herr/Fidel Herr/Fidel Herr/Blasius Herr/Markus Herr of Oensbach, Baden, Germany submitted dna for a 67-marker y-marker test. With the results of this test, anticipated back from the lab May 24, 2009, we can compare the Oensbach Herr line with the Other Michigan, and Pennsylvania Herr line to determine if there is a probability of relationship between the two lines.
