The yDNA results of our seven participants indicate only two of us are related. We now have a wide variation of spellings among the participants: Gillett, Gillet, Gillette, Gelette, Jellett. The results indicate that the fact we all have the same surname is simply a coincidence. Three are from the R1b1 haplogroup, one from R1b1c, one from Ila, and one from the I haplogroup.

Our seven participants are and international group: 3 from Canada, 1 from France, 1 from England, and 2 from the USA.
