Although the purpose of this project is to determine if the various Smallwood families of antebellum Georgia were related, the results of two of the particpants (including the coordinator) has proven that they aren't Smallwoods, but rather, Quinns. Therefore, the focus has shifted a bit, but the original goal is still very much at the heart of this project.
