FOWLER and any other reasonable spelling variations are welcome to join the project. Only males have Y-chromosomes, so only male FOWLER (or variant) can participate. If you are female, you can have a male FOWLER (or variant) relative submit a sample for your line. To participate meaningfully, testers will need to share their direct male line ancestry back to the earliest known FOWLER (or variant) in the form of a pedigree chart (excluding living persons). To join the project a person should have either • a Fowler surname or a surname that could be a variant of a Fowler surname, or be • any person who has Fowler (or a variant) surnames among their Y-DNA matches. but who does not necessarily have a Fowler surname themselves • a person who has Fowler surnames among his Family Finder matches.
