This project uses Y-DNA to identify the origins of FOUNTAIN family members who immigrated to America in the early 1600's. Y-DNA will confirm how and if these separate lines share a common male ancestor or if they point to a different family altogether. Autosomal (atDNA) tests are also welcome as early results show distinct FOUNTAIN family groups connected by autosomal DNA. Variants include: Fountaine, Fontaine, de la Fontaine
