This project is a study to determine the degree of variation among various Fitzmaurice/Fitzmorris lines and to what extent those lines are descended from the two main groups of known Fitzmaurices, descendants of the Barons of Kerry and descendants of the 12th century Norman Knight Maurice de Prendergast.
