Our objective is to use Y DNA test samples to construct son-from-father pedigrees and thus define lineages and seek common ancestors, so as to be able to see, measure and compare relatedness; which lineages are related to others and which not. When two lineages are revealed to share common ancestor, they are grouped together in a common ancestor family group.
