The current focus of the Farnham project is Farnham/Farnum descendants in America.  As Family Tree DNA
expands its testing in England, we hope to broaden our scope.

Today we are using DNA to explore the origins of our Farnham/Farnum ancestors by confirming the traditional
genealogical record and by shedding light on the migrations that brought our ancestors to America.

Specifically, we want to:

1. Confirm the traditional genealogical record for descendants of Ralph-Alice
2. Confirm the traditional genealogical record for descendants of John-Elizabeth-Susanna and Henry-Johanna
3. Confirm that Ralph and John are cousins
4. Confirm that Ralph and John are descended from the Farnhams of Cambridgeshire
5. Confirm that Ralph and John are descended from the Syfrewast/Chiffrevast family of Normandy

Goals 3-5 are conjecture based upon published migration studies by a researcher.

And just for fun, we would like to know more about the deep origins of our paternal line.
