About us
The main goals of the Ericsson project are:
- help Scandinavian-Americans with the family name Erickson - Eriksen (with variants) to find their roots, and understand the Scandinavian genealogy and naming traditions
- assist in adding test kits to the more relevant Norwegian, Swedish and Danish Geographical Projects - and haplogroup projects if there is interest
- provide general information to the genealogy community about these names and the naming traditions of Scandinavia
- be a portal for DNA testing for all families with the last name Erickson (and all other spellings), to enable these to get the project discount prices and also find other relevant projects to join
