About us
Welcome to the East African DNA Peace Project! We aim to learn, share, compare, and establish connections through YDNA and MtDNA findings of the East African people, in the region, or across the globe.
Project Goals:
1. To learn, share, and establish the genetic makeup and connections of the people of Eastern African countries Somalia (Somali), Somaliland, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Sudan, South Sudan, Egypt, Uganda, Rwanda, and other nearby countries.
2. To celebrate diversity while creating unity, peace, stability, and progress through genetic findings.
3. To compare traditional oral genealogy to YDNA findings since some tribal affiliations are passed from male to male.
4. To help connect with relatives or explore family lineage and movement in the region and across the world.
