Would you like to find out more about the source of your ancient Dominy surname?  If you are a Dominy male descendant, you may share Y-DNA along your direct paternal line stretching back through history and across many continents.  Whether you are Dominy, Dominey, Domoney, Domine, Dominie, Dominee, even phonetic surname variants such Dunning are connecting worldwide, from Dorset and Devon, England to East Hampton, NY, USA to Cape La Hune, Newfoundland, we are of the same historic paternal line with many thrilling family stories to uncover and share.

Our project is focused on the Y-DNA because of the longevity of the link, but some of the best told and well-documented stories are found along our more recent A-DNA lines, so we encourage you, both male and female Dominy descendants, to contribute and share via the Family Finder test, too.

As we grow, more DNA group results, and content links will be added.  Emailing will be limited, so please check back here for latest documentation and new discoveries.

Welcome!
