This project is for people with ancestry that includes the surname Dees or any of its alternatives (Deas, Deese, Dease). The project is open to all who are interested in working together to find their common heritage through sharing of information and dna testing. The project should be very useful for tracing the ancestry of Y-DNA testers with the Dees surname but females and men who have Dees in their ancestry but not direct line Dees should also find it useful. When joining, please provide the name of your earliest known ancestor to the project and a direct line pedigree back to that ancestor.
