The goal for the project is to further Combs research (including all variant spellings) by providing a place for shared information.  We recommend upgrading to the highest level of YDNA testing as you can when it is offered. The Big Y 700 is currently the highest level of testing. A good way to put it, if Y12 is the main trunk of the tree from which all those in the haplogroup descend, Y25 would be a main limb off that trunk, Y37 would be a branch off that limb etcetera etcetera and the Big Y would be a leaf that was the last one to grow on your particular line. We encourage Family Finder participants to join their trees containing Combs.
