Nov 2012 - L1314 and L1315 discovered by Family Tree DNA lab in an R1b-L21 DF13** candidate.
Dec 2013 - First L1314-, L1315+ known test by ftdna.  Based on Collins family history this branch began about 300 years ago.
Aug 2014 - L1314 was discovered to fall under a new subclade of L21, FGC5494.  This discovery was the result of analyst of L21 citizen-scientist.  This clade is very old, and they are several other branches.
