We wish to establish links between the early Cod/Codd/Code/Codde/Cood/Coe families and discover how these families in Ireland, Wales, England, Canada, USA and Australia are inter-related. It seems the Codd family is Flemish in origin and entered England, Wales and Ireland with the Norman Invasions. The Codd/Code/Coad family appears to be distinct from the Cody family in Ireland and the Coad families based in Cornwall at his stage.
