Coastal Carolina Families includes those of Albemarle Sound, Pamlico Sound, Outer Banks, Neuse River, Newport River, White Oak River, New River, Cape Fear River Regions and into the South Carolina Low Country Plantations and surrounding areas of Charleston, Georgetown, and Beaufort and inland migrations.The goal of this project is to help any member, who theorizes their ancestors lived in the Coastal area of North or South Carolina, to discover their relatives and genealogical history. 1. A completed genealogy is not required to join. 2. Any surname will be accepted to match with others of the area. 3. Adoptees and NPE's are welcome to join in an effort to match a biological relative.
