About us
The primary objective of this project is to identify and establish the specific Y-chromosome marker characteristics of the several Cloyes lines. This may be done by testing for and showing significant allele "tags" if such exist for the individual family lines.
There is always the possibility that some testees will not match the established haplotype or haplogroup of the group as a whole and research will then need to be focused elsewhere.
This can be caused either by an unrecorded adoption or in an instance where the biological father was not the father of record.
