At the present time, six of ten participants (not known to be related within 10 generations) have recorded results indicating Haplogroup I2b (old I1c) and trace their origins to the area surrounding Carswell and Nether Carswell (near Neilston) in East Renfrewshire. Two members (related) are I2a and originate in Burke county GA, USA, while two other members are R1b. One originates from Argyll, and the other Shropshire.
