The researchers who began this study ten years ago tried to determine the genetic relationship between all  Carrow, Carew,Carrons and other variant surnames  worldwide

These few Carrow, Carew and Carron/Carron researchers began this group to prove/disprove relatedness between early  immigrants to the Delmarva ( Delaware,Maryland and Virginia) and North Carolina in the 1600s

We seem to have begun to disprove a single surname premise as being unfounded, at least between Carew Carrow and Caroon. Older research often declares Carew and Carrow as having different origins if not ethnicity. With limited testers we  see that is perhaps a valid premise.

Origins of most of these settlers were not stated in records although circumstances point to England with Scotland and Ireland possible

We are seeking our origins both genetically and geographically with Y DNA as well as autosomal tests
