*Before joining please double-check your Carroll Branch as we are only focused on a very small branch of R-M222, please refer to the Carroll DNA Project (https://www.familytreedna.com/public/carroll/). There is one exception, descendants of Luke Carroll (1770-1830) of North Carolina are allowed to join until next generation sequencing is performed on their line.

Due to the proximity of the Carroll and Dolan lines, shared ancestor R-A260 is aged around 506 AD, we are combining research efforts

Dolan: focused on descendants of John Dolan and Margaret Weir from Ireland or distant cousins that have tested positive for the Y-DNA Haplogroup R-FGC5939. The brick wall starts in Cincinnati, Ohio where John and Margaret first appear baptizing John (5 Feb 1847) and Catherine (24 Feb 1849), no records for the third child, Peter. The project has confirmed Catherine Dolan Banks line but would like to confirm John's line whom died of alcoholism 14 Mar 1896 in St Louis, Missouri.

Our prediction is John Dixon & Mary Arthur.
