To get the most out of your DNA Project you should update your Personal Page by logging in on Family Trees DNA Home Page by typing in the appropriated blocks your:
1. Kit Number
2. Password.
3. Click on Submit.

Then on your Personal Page:
1. Click on Setup Preferences.

Then on your Setup Preference page:
1. click on box - I want my matches to be set against the entire database.
2. On Displaying Matches: Check all three boxes (12, 25, & 37 marker matches).

Then on your Displaying the Most Distance Known Ancestor:
1. Fill in Paternal Side blank (father or grandfather or more distant name, b. date, d. date, and place of each).
2. Fill in Maternal Side blank (mother or grandmother or more distant name, b. date, d. date and place of each).
