The first Bullocks to be tested were participants in a research project funded by Sorenson Molecular Genealogy Foundation. Later two others were tested at Relative Genetics (now part of ancestry.com). When Family Tree DNA tests became popular, new test subjects were encouraged to use their lab facilities as they offered a greater variety of tests, better customer service, and the latest in technology. Some others have received results from DNA Heritage and ancestry.com.
