Updated 20 Nov 2022 To help find family connections for the BROWNELLs of all spelling and variations. By joining the group you agree to provide the project with 3 things. 1) The surname of the person being tested. 2) The name, date and place of birth of the oldest researched male ancestor of your male patrilineal line and the oldest researched female ancestor of your matrilineal line. 3) Permission to publish the DNA results and the names, dates and places of birth of the oldest known patrilineal or matrilineal ancestor. The BROWNELL DNA Project is an ongoing project open to anyone who has the surname BROWNELL in their family tree. It is open to any FTDNA tester - if you have tested at another company and wish to join us, please contact me (firstname.lastname@example.org) It is primarily for males who carry Y-DNA, but females are welcome, especially if they carry the BROWNELL surname. The project is aiming to identify the numerous BROWNELL families together using DNA. Male participants' Y-DNA results can be viewed within the project as are the mtDNA results Feel free to join in or to initiate conversations within the 'Activity Feed'. This is your in-house forum. Be certain to look around the project and familiarise yourself with what is there. My contact details are visible to the left hand side of the project's Landing page as well as in the above paragraph.
