This project was created to bring together researchers of the Broadwell surname, or those that have Broadwell lineage through adoption or unexpected parental events. Broadwells or their relations worldwide are invited to join the project. The name is believed to have originated in Gloucestershire, England. Some of those migrated to America in the 1600s and many Broadwells today in America can trace their lineage back to William Broadwell and Mary Morse of New Jersey. This project is intended to help our cousins solidify their connections and ancestors in America and other countries and to understand their potential ties back to the Broadwells of England.
