Please do not join this project unless you have been confirmed as matching the Project Signature (please see the Results Tab for the signature/str values) or you have been contacted by the project administrator. If you do not have the required YCAII 22-23 or 22-22, along with other specific key marker values, you will not be able to join this project. There are other YCAII 22-23 and 22-22 lineages under different haplogroups that do not match this lineage so if you have a question about whether or not your kit matches the lineage, please feel free to email the project administrator before attempting to join the project. There are other marker values that comprise our specific signature, in addition to YCAII and we review those additional markers to determine the likelihood of a match when we don't already have a confirmed A6119 test result. Anyone with a confirmed results for the SNP A6119 should join the project, regardless of their SNP values. It is possible we may have A6119 positive males that do not carry the YCAII values previously cited. Update - We've also found matches for our A6119 lineage having YCAII 22-22 and at least one result out there with YCAII 23-23. There are other markers values that have been identified as part of the signature, in addition to the YCAII values referenced, so we are able to rely on this additional markers to confirm a likely connection to the lineage.
