THE OBJECTIVES of the Brimberry surname project are to:
1. Support or supplement traditional genealogy.
2. Eliminate or confirm the relationship of individuals or branches descended from Christiern Brunberg (also Brynberg).
3. Facilitate research on allied families.
4. Confirm variant surnames as part of the same genetic family with the same DNA although spelled differently today in the U.S. and Sweden (e.g., Brimberry, Brimbery, Brunberg).
5. Confirm and distinguish three known, and other possible, adoption lines who are genetically unrelated.
