The surname Braham is English in origin.  There were a number of Brahams in Jamaica (formerly known as British West Indies), all believed to be related.  A number of these Jamaican Brahams came to the United States and Canada in the early 1900s.  The purpose of this surname DNA project is to see if all the Brahams have a common ancestor and help Brahams with their genealogy.  All male Brahams, worldwide, are invited to join.
