The BODMAN Families DNA Project has several goals:
1. It is attempting to find links between the various regional BODMAN families throughout Great Britain, France and Germany and the origin of this surname.
2. Within the Wiltshire area it is trying to establish any common ancestors of the families who dwelt there.
3. Whether there is any connection between the Wiltshire and the German BODMANs. Participation is open to any male with the BODMAN surname (or a variation) who believes his ancestors originated in Great Britain, France and Germany.
