We are looking for Blagg surnamed males (or variations thereof) who are willing to participate in YDNA testing which may unravel the origins of various Blagg paternal lines more definitively.  

YDNA testing has identified one English and three distinct American Blagg lines to date.  If you have been tested elsewhere, please join and share your data.  

-- Additional YDNA tests of Blaggs with direct English ancestry.  Financial assistance will be provided for such tests; contact the administrator for details.

-- Additional YDNA tests of any of the American Blagg lines.

Known Blagg lines currently in America:

-- Descendants of Caleb Blagg, born in Virginia in 1745

-- Descendants of John Blagg, born in Virginia 1 March 1761

-- Descendants of William Blagg, born in 1740

Descendants of each of these lines have had YDNA tests performed indicating that they are separate Blagg lines, not related in a genealogical significant time frame.
