If you have done YDNA testing and have any version of the Bixby surname, I encourage you to join. Paper trail genealogy has shown the surname to radiate outward from Suffolk, England in the fifteenth century. Wouldn't it be fascinating to confirm that single origin story using our DNA? And where that received tradition turns out to be wrong, we can use comparing our DNA as a tool to track and catalog what really happened. But it means we need as many Bixby YDNA kits as we can get for analysis, so please join and help us add to our shared knowledge.
