The Project studies the genetic connections between males with the surnames Barden, Bardeen, Bardens, Burden, Bardin, etc. Of particular interest are the descendants of William Barden who emigrated to the Plymouth Colony in 1638. Also of interest are the Barden and Bardeen descendants of James Bardens of Medfield (1717) and Walpole, Mass.
