Ashkanan is a city located on eastern side of the Arabian (Persian) Gulf, part of an area what commonly called ‘Bar Faris’ in Iran. Many descendants of the Ashkanani people migrated to the Arabian countries, settled, and formed many families in Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and UAE. Some families even have extended roots to Saudi Arabia and Iraq. This group is formed to bring members of the Ashkananis close together and identity lost relatives.
