This project aims to research the history of Bardizag and it's people. Bardizag was an Ottoman Armenian community south of the Bay of Izmid (Nicomedia) - in north-western Turkey. Please join this project if you can trace your lineage to this region from 1800 and onwards. Specifically, if any of your ancestors have lived in the town of Bardizag or it's surrounding settlements such as Adabazar, Boursa, Ovadjek, Manoushag and Jamavayr.
