Our Acree Surname DNA Project is determining the extent to which men with the surname Acree relate to one another worldwide. In addition to Acree participants, we welcome men who spell their surname differently - as Acre, Acrea, Acrey, Ackrey, Acra, Akre, Akrey, Akrie, or otherwise. We also welcome men having the surnames Acres, Acker(s), Aker(s), Dacre, Daker and Hacker, which are historically associated with ours. Our project, established at another DNA testing firm in August 2006, has been testing at FTDNA since December 2012. Roughly half of our participants have tested for Y-DNA at FTDNA or transferred their results here.
