Project Goals
This project is dedicated to the DNA study of persons testing positive for the M223 SNP or predicted as such. This currently places us in the I2b1 subclade of Haplogroup I.
The primary goal of the project is to provide researchers and I2b1 members with an organized layout of project results with project members assigned to proper subclades. The assignment of members to subclades will be done in accordance with ISOGG nomenclature, FTDNA SNP testing results, and the Cullen/Nordtvedt predictive tool, the latter of which may always be in a state of flux.
