This project was created to determine the country of origin for the Barnts/Barntz family.  The creators of this particular surname project are descendants of Isaac (born 1815) and Margaret Mary Nightwine Barnts/Barntz (born 1824) in Pennsylvania.  We welcome anyone with this surname to join our project and together we can solve the question of where this family originated.   We are genealogists and family historians who are willing to work hard to tie our families together.
