The goals of this project are to understand the ancestral origins of the Zane family.  Most or all of the Zanes in the United States descend from Robert Zane (b. 1643, d. 1695) who immigrated to New Jersey in 1675. We invite male Zane descendents of Robert Zane (b. 1643, d. 1695) and Zanes from elsewhere in the world to join this project so that we can determine if all of the Zanes descend from the same progenitor.
