- An undocumented relationship between two WESTONs has been established on the Duxbury WESTON line (Group 6) through a DNA match. Both gentlemen descend from Benjamin (1701-1773), son of Edmund (c1760-1727) and Rebecca (c1756-1732, nee SOULE) WESTON. The DNA match establishes the pedigree of the first gentleman from Nehemiah WESTON, b. 1763/1770 at Cromwell, Middlesex Co., CT as the son of Joshua WESTON (1725-1784) and grandson of Benjamin by his first wife Hannah (nee BISHOP). The second gentleman is descended from the SOMD accepted line of Capt William WESTON (1732-1820), son of Benjamin through his second wife Hannah (nee COOMER)
