This project is intended for all those who have known Turkish/Turkic ancestry originating from the region of Bulgaria. Both direct paternal (yDNA) and maternal (mtDNA) line of descent qualify for participation. Members who have Turkish/Turkic ancestors from proximal territories around Bulgaria (Vilayet of Rumelia) and the Danubian island of Ada Kaleh (Adakale) are also welcome to participate.
