BIG NEWS ITEM # 1: Our NEW REDD FAMILY HISTORY Y-DNA PROJECT IS NOW OPEN AND READY FOR NEW TESTING MEMBERS who want to see if they match our established lines, or to set up their own unique profile for tracing and future matches. Our website is set up, and we already have five testing members in two subgroups.
BIG NEWS ITEM # 2: We have three matching testers who trace back on the line of William Redd (early 1700's) of Nansemond Co., VA. They have established a profile testing haplogroup R1b1 and have been included in our first subgroup.
BIG NEWS ITEM # 3: We have two matching testers who trace back on the line of Nathaniel Redd (1749-1824) of Washington Co., PA. They have established a different profile testing haplogroup R1b1 and have been included in our second subgroup.
