Welcome to the Pine Surname DNA project hosted at Family Tree DNA (dot) com.
The purpose of this project at a high level is to bring together members of the Pine/Pyne family and assist in establishing the origins of the particular individuals line.
The name Pine/Pyne is mainly clustered in the Devon region of England, however, we belive based on research by M. TAYLOR PYNE. L.H.D. of Princetown in 1919 that the family may have its roots in Spanish and French Houses.
We hope to confirm this research via this project and bring together the Pine/Pyne family who now are spread across the globe.
