Our goal is to ascertain whether those families with the surname Neiman/Neyman/Naiman/Niman/Neumann/etc are related and to what degree. We welcome anyone of this surname to submit DNA to this project. The initial starting member of our group is a Neiman descended from a family originally from Pikeliai, Lithuania; his family are Levites. We know from traditional genealogical research that the descendents of Neimans from Pikeliai scattered around the globe in places as far flung at Sweden, the USA, Israel, and South Africa.
