About us
Participants one and three descend from a different son of our known (MRCA) most recent common ancestor, Michael KINSEL. We are hoping more male descendants from Michael KINSEL's other sons come forward for testing. Further analysis through Michael KINSEL's son John, has now revealed that we are Haplogroup E1b1b1a2.
We still encourage males of any and all KINSEL spelling to join the project and perhaps discover another MRCA who was born prior to our Michael KINSEL/KINSALE/KINSAIL.
Volunteer number two is also in the Haplogroup E1b1b1, but has only tested for the first twelve markers. Perhaps deeper testing would reveal a possibility that one of his distant ancestors match with one of the prior participants mentioned.
