About us
Our goal was to locate and test at least one male descendant of each branch if possible, to see which of them have a common ancestor. As of August 2020, we feel the project is complete. Three unique Heimlich male-line ancestors have been identified.
August 2020: Starting a similar study for the Keisler/Keizler family of northeastern Hungary. Some of the Keislers intermarried with the Heimlichs.
Keisler Y-DNA results will be displayed here in the Heimlich project as they come in. So far, there have been two lines identified.
