As of March 2012 we have DNA results from 16 people, 12 of which have submitted Y-DNA and are split into 3 groups with 2 members as of yet not classified.

As of December 2009 we have DNA results from 10 people.

As of February 2008 we have DNA results from 6 people. There are two near matches (11 of 12 markers). This is an encouraging start!

We urge Freeland descendants to take the simple test to determine their DNA matches. This Surname Project began on October 17, 2007.
