02 Feb 2022: I've spent the last several weeks working on the YDNA test results analysis and traditional genealogy research for the member of the Delong Surname YDNA Project who are in G2 Haplogroup - Subset 1 -- those who are descended from the Delong families of the area of Bowers, Berks County, PA, and adjacent areas and counties. Using the YDNA and the paper trail information I have compiled a chart which shows to the best of my research at this point, the relationships of the members matching closely in Haplogroup G2 - Subset 1 of Berks Co PA Delongs. The earliest male line progenitor is surmised and not proven. But the YDNA data tells us all those in the G2 Haplogroup - Subset 1 all descend back in time from one direct male line ancestor. Also note in the chart that there are some Long folks who originally were Delong folk and changed the family name spelling over time. See the chart and analysis online on my webpage at: http://www.kerchner.com/delong/Delong-YDNA-Project-Haplogroup-G2-Clan-of-PA.pdf  Comments, corrections, and additions welcome.  If you find this chart useful to you, please issue proper credit.
