Only Delong surnamed males (or a Long family names lines who through spelling variations over time the family name changed from Delong to Long or similar sounding or spelled) or someone sponsoring a Delong surnamed or similar sounding/spelling surnamed male. The project was created to determine the Y-DNA chromosome markers for various unlinked Delong / Delang / Delanghe family groups and similar sounding (in English) family surname groups, and to determine if any of them have a theoretical common male ancestor in Europe in the last 400-600 years.
