My goal is to find out the ancestry of many of the Europeans that immigrated and settled or conquered most of the Caribbean Islands.

I am interested in finding the ancestry of the surnames associated with the countries who immigrated to many of the island of the Caribbean and the Caribbean coastal countries.

The Antilles refers to the islands forming the greater part of the West Indies in the Caribbean Sea.

Dutch West Indies is part of the Lesser Antilles and consists of islands in the Caribbean Sea. Curaçao and Bonaire, just off the Venezuelan coast, Saint Eustatius, Saba and Saint Maarten, located southeast ofthe Virgin Islands.
